From an income statement perspective, the sharp depreciation in the Mexican peso has offered a material lift to earnings. Most of Asurs expenses are peso denominated, whereas a goodly portion of the revenue line is denominated in either US dollars or other foreign currencies.
This currency tailwind may persist throughout the balance of 2017.
